Wildflower of Vorhús is inspired by the small blooming wildflowers that attracts the eye all over in Iceland's nature. Holurt, Silene uniflora, is one of them and easily catches your attention due to its white delicate petals that form a strong contrast with the rough landscape it grows in, usually gravelly soil sometimes mixed with pumice. Holurt can be found all over the country from the lowlands up to an altitude of 700 meters high.
